On Monday, August 12th, the MetroWest YMCA’s Camp OCP hosted the Massachusetts Secretary of Education, Matt Malone and the Executive Director of Project Bread, Ellen Parker to see the Summer Meals program in action.Secretary Malone, Ms. Parker and their staff had the opportunity to speak with some campers while they ate nutritious lunches prepared by the Framingham Public Schools and funded by the US Department of Agriculture and administered by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
