Sound Healing in Medfield Thursday Night, and Natick Sunday Afternoon

Sound Healing, which Dr. Oz calls 'the next wave' in healing, is both deeply therapeutic and profoundly relaxing, effecting change right down to the molecular level. Please join SoundScapers this weekend for a full sound healing practice, in either Medield on Thursday night March 1 from 7-9:00pm at the Holistic Wellness Center, 67 West Street, Medfield; or on Sunday afternoon, March 16, 4-6:00pm, at Roots and Wings Yoga, 317 N. Main Street, Natick.  Of course you may also attend both! Attendees lay on yoga mats beneath blankets and are bathed in the exquisite tones of the shruiti box, chant, the didgeridoo, the gong, trance drumming, and over a dozen Tibetan and quartz crystal sound bowls. This practice is as beneficial as it is restorative and relaxing. $25 per person. For the Medfield event, please call 508.359.7400 to register; for the Natick event, call 781.254.3239. Yoga mats, blankets, and pillows provided. Thank you for reading, and have a peaceful day.

Everyone has a vibration that is a signature of their health and well-being. Similar to a musical instrument that can fall out of tune through use, our bodies can also fall out of vibrational harmony and potentially develop illness. Stress and negativity create blockages of a healthy flow of energy, showing up in the energy field around our body as lower energy disturbances at first, and later as illness in our physical body. Sound and vibration can be used to re-tune and return us to health and one of the most powerful modalities for this is the use of singing bowls. When there is a deep relaxation through soothing, resonant sound, the body is affected on a cellular level, opening up the flow of energy to move us back toward health..."
