ASHLAND: Theresa A. (O'Malia) Bathen, 79, a local resident for 8 years, died
Thursday Oct. 31, 2013 at Carlyle House in Framingham. She was the wife
of the late Ralph H. Bathen.
Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the
late Charles and Julia (Fiske) O'Malia. Mrs. Bathen was primarily
a homemaker, remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She
enjoyed gardening and crafts.
She is survived by her 2 children: Pamela
Bathen and husband Carlton White of Ashland and Jon Bathen and his
partner Christine Haymore of Attleboro; 3 grandchildren: Jarred Bathen,
Olivia and Alexandra White; her siblings: Virginia (O'Malia) Kerns of
Dedham, Eleanor (O'Malia) Previte of Randolph, Julia (O'Malia) Irvine
and husband Herbert of Westwood, and Maureen (O'Malia) Sheehan and
husband Paul of Weymouth; sister-in-law: Patricia O'Malia of Taunton,
and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late: Charles
O'Malia, William O'Malia, Eileen (O'Malia) Cogavin and sister-in-law of
the late Mildred O'Malia and the late Joseph Previte.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday Nov. 4 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at
Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham with a prayer
service to be held at 4:45 p.m. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers,
the family suggests memorial donations be made in Theresa's name to The
