WAAF On-Air Hosts Literally 'Rise Up' for 3-Day Station Fundraiser to Benefit Local Food Banks
WAAF on-air personalities Lyndon "LB" Byers and Anthony "Spaz" Parziale are officially up in the air for the next three days as part of the annual "WAAF Rise Up Against Hunger" fundraising campaign to benefit the Greater Boston, New Hampshire, and Worcester County Food Banks.
Spaz, an Attleboro resident with ties to Woburn, is suspended on a platform on a lift 60 feet in the air above The British Beer Company on Route 9 in Framingham from 6 am Wednesday, December 11 through 7 pm Friday, December 13. LB is doing the same, living six stories above the Greater Boston Food Bank in Boston for 60 hours.
For more than two decades, WAAF's on-air personalities have enlisted themselves in various physically challenging stunts in an effort to engage listeners to support local food banks. Listeners are encouraged to visit LB and Spaz during their time up in the sky and make a donation to the cause.
