Jack's Abby Brewery started in January 2011 with brothers Jack, Eric and Sam Hendler. The Brewery's mission is to "create truly remarkable beer that combines the strict standards of traditional German brewing with the innovative approach of American craft brewers."

The company is in the process of expanding in Framingham. Earlier this year, the company leased 6,000 square feet of space to expand its brewery’s barrel-aging program and allow for installation of a grain silo.

In 2011, Jack's brewed 400 barrels of beer and in 2012, 2,500 barrels of beer. This year, the brothers plan to brew more than 6,000 barrels of beer. In 2014, they hope to brew in the 10-15,000 barrel range.
