9th Annual Flutie Bowl At Kings on Jan. 23

Framingham-based charitable organization is gearing up for the ninth annual Flutie Bowl on Jan. 23, which will raise money for football legend and Natick native Doug Flutie's charity, the

The Flutie Brothers Band will perform, featuring Doug himself on the drums. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served, followed by a silent auction that includes autographed sports memorabilia and others items.

“The Flutie Bowl is about bringing people together who really care about the autism community—including our dear friends, supporters, and local companies,” said Flutie in a statement. “We always have a great time bowling and playing music at this event, and we encourage everyone to come out to Kings for a fun night to support the Foundation.”

Flutie and his wife Laurie created the foundation in honor of their son Doug Jr., who was diagnosed with autism at age 3.

The Flutie Bowl goes from 6 to 10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23 at , located at 600 Legacy Pl. in Dedham.

Spectator tickets are $50 and all-star tickets are $100. There are still corporate sponsorships available. To purchase tickets, call 1-866-3AUTISM.

Since the Flutie Bowl began in 2003, the event has reportedly raised almost $500,000 for the foundation.
