Framingham Bridge Re-Opens

A sure sign summer is over Labor Day and construction projects ending.

Framingham Patch reader Jennifer Ryan informed Patch the Winter Street bridge, near Maple Street, re-opened tonight, Aug. 30.

"Winter Street bridge is finally open and while that means more noise and traffic, it also means it is easier to get around again!" she wrote to Framingham Patch.

The bridge opened just in time for Labor Day weekend and move-in weekend for the Class of 2017 at Framingham State University. Freshmen are scheduled to begin moving in tomorrow, Aug. 31.
