Framingham Remembers Newtown

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic shooting in Newtown, Ct.

On the 11th month anniversary of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Citizens for Sensible Gun Policy, A Member of MA Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence held a candlelight vigil remembering Newtown.

Afterwards, there was a panel discussion titled "What We Can Do To Prevent Gun Violence and What Challenges We May Face."

Panelists included John Hill, Founder – Move to Amend, Boston Chapter, Sen. Karen Spilka, Framingham Police Chief Ken Ferguson, Laura Hyer of Stop Hand Gun Violence), Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian and gun owner Sheila Loayza. Framingham State Rep. Chris Walsh was moderator.
