Marguerite LaMarque, 91, of Framingham credits genetics, her religion and the fact that she does not damage her body with alcohol, nicotine or drugs to her long life.
LaMarque, who is Catholic, told AARP magazine she lives by 4 simple truths:
- Listen carefully to others
- Take pleasure in little things
- Do your best
- And most of all, set high standards for yourself, and always strive to live up to them. Your children, your family, your community … they will notice.
