It looks like he will "survive" said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini this morning.
He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital via a medical helicopter. He had surgery to remove bullet fragments.
Reports of gun shots and shooting are not uncommon for this neighborhood, located South of Route 135 near the Sherborn line.
, in the same neighborhood. Framingham Police while investigating a report of gun shots on Morton Street discovered the woman was shot in a different shooting that same night. Witnesses took her to the hospital for treatment, but did not call the police.
Brandolini said Sunday's shooting "was not random." Sunday's shooting took place on Beaver Street at the corner of Third Street, a block from Second Street.
Unfortunately, the neighborhood has not been helpful with police in catching those responsible for the gun shots and shootings.
"The victim is not cooperating," said Brandolini.
Witnesses were not helpful in the March shootings either. Again, the woman shot did not cooperate with police.
