Lake Waushakum Still Closed
Another water test was taken today, July 21, and hopefully, the town's public beach will re-open on Tuesday, July 22.
Framingham Parks & Recreation had to close Lake Waushakum beach last Wednesday evening on July 16 and the beach is still closed, today to water quality issues.
Framingham Parks & Recreation Department said the beach failed a water quality test.
A sample taken at the beach, last week, was seven times the limit for E. Coli.
Another test was taken today, July 21, and hopefully, the town's public beach will re-open on Tuesday, July 22.
The town's two other beaches Learneds Pond and Saxonville beach are open and have no water quality issues.
