SLIDESHOW: Children Creating Creatures

It was the largest crowd ever for a LEGO Build contest, said Framingham Children's Librarian Lucy Loveridge.

Dozens and dozens of children created creatures Monday night at the Framingham Library.

Using just the LEGO bricks given to them in a bag, each of the 60 attendees at the LEGO Building Contest, at the main Framingham Library, were given 30 minutes to create their best "creatures."

It was the largest crowd ever for a LEGO Build contest, said Framingham Children's Librarian Lucy Loveridge. More than 60 boys and girls competed.

Prizes were awarded for the best creature in three, co-ed age groups.
