Framingham residents said former Nurse Jackie and Twilight saga actor Peter Facinelli was friendly and willing to pose for photos with them while he was busy filming his new television project for NBC Studios titled Odyssey.
NBC Studios filmed scenes for a television pilot in a private home on Sloane Drive in Framingham and at the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency HQ, both in Framingham on March 7.
The television pilot also stars actor Treat Williams, who was filming at MEMA HQ in Framingham, while Facinelli filmed scenes on Sloan Drive on Friday.
NBC transformed the State Emergency Operations Center into a Military Command Center for a day for the filming of a few scenes for a TV pilot "Odyssey," reported MEMA on its Facebook page.
Odyssey, according to letters mailed to the neighborhood, follows three families entangled in a military conspiracy by way of a female solider, a corporate attorney (Facinelli) and a political activist.
Facinelli plays Peter, a family man with a new house and job. Once a prosecuting attorney, he now works in business intelligence, legally investigating on behalf of his Wall Street firm.
A man with an inquisitive streak, happy with his wife and two kids, he's assigned to investigate a company before a potential merger and finds what appears to be a trail of blood stretching from Reno to Africa, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Filming, according to letters sent to the Sloane Drive neighborhood by NBC Studios, was only expected to take place on March 7 only. Filming took place inside a private residence.
On Saturday, March 8 filming of Odyssey moved to Post Office Square in Boston, where a protest was created, according to Patch reader Daniel Hasson, who texted Framingham Patch photos from the filming in Boston.
