Updated Thursday at 11:30 a.m.: Framingham town offices are closed on Thursday due to the storm.

That includes Town Hall, Callahan Senior Center, Parks Administration, and public libraries, according to the town website.

In addition, the MRC and CPR Program that were scheduled for Thursday night have also been cancelled.

Original Story: The snowstorm headed toward New England will likely make travel treacherous on Thursday, with snow falling in the morning and possible freezing rain hitting the roads by the evening commute.

The National Weather Service is predicting 5-9 inches of snow for Framingham falling by sunset.

Snow should begin Thursday morning and change over to sleet and freezing rain on Thursday afternoon and evening. Winds will be 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 29 mph so power outages are possible.

After nightfall, snow and sleet accumulations will be less than half an inch. Rain, freezing rain, and sleet are predicted to hit Framingham until around 3 a.m.

Check back with this article throughout the day for any updates on closings and how the storm is impacting Framingham as they become available.

Hi Debbie! I have not heard anything otherwise, but will keep looking around and let you know if that has changed.

Patch SUCKS now that Susan is gone. Why don't we all unlike it until we get her back?
