United Way Distributed More Than 1,000 Turkeys to MetroWest Families in Need

United Way will continue to collect donations for their Feed-A- Family Campaign with a goal of providing over 3,000 families in need and over $10,000 for additional fixings and holiday groceries for the cold winter months ahead.

The United Way of Tri-County  distributed more than 1,000 turkeys this
holiday season through their direct service food pantries.

The Pearl Street Cupboard & Café, the Marlborough Community Cupboard and WHEAT Community Services distributed turkeys on Nov. 19 and 20 to families in MetroWest.

In addition, the United Way will continue to collect donations for their Feed-A- Family Campaign with a goal of providing over 3,000 families in need and over $10,000 for additional fixings and holiday groceries for the cold winter months ahead. They are asking the help of the community to provide support for their neighbors during this difficult time of record breaking need.

The United Way of Tri-County’s Marlborough Community Cupboard distributed 440 turkeys with the help of the MetroWest Boys and Girls Club, who have donated their gymnasium space to help with this massive effort.

The Pearl Street Cupboard & Café in Framingham distributed more than 550 turkeys to their registered clients on Nov 20.
