Update on Construction Projects in Framingham

Framingham Public Works division has issued an alert for state and local road construction and bridge work.

STATE PROJECTS:

Arthur Street: Construction crews will continue sidewalk construction on Arthur Street between Bishop Street and Willis Street. Traffic will be managed utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone. Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Chouteau Avenue Area: Construction crews will continue roadway reconstruction activities on Chouteau Avenue, Lasalle Avenue, Lakeview Road, Laclede Avenue and Lake Road. Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Edgell Road: Roadway construction activities continue on Edgell Road at the intersection Edgell Road and Oak Street. Sidewalk construction activities will continue on the western side of Edgell Road. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing lane shifts on Edgell Road. Construction activities are scheduled between7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.

Department of Public Works Highway:

Grant Street/Pond Street Area: Construction crews will continue to perform roadway construction activities including roadway milling, structure adjustments and curbing work. Construction activities are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Lincoln Street: Construction crews will be installing roadway markings, and performing curbing work and sidewalk construction on Lincoln Street. Construction activities are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Pleasant Street Area: The Highway Department will be performing roadway structure adjustments and curbing work in the Pleasant Street area. Construction activities are scheduled between to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. 

South Concord Street: Construction crews will continue to remove sidewalk panels and install communications conduit on Concord Street between Hartford Street and Lincoln Street. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Vernon Street and Oak Street : Roadway construction activities will continue with the installation of traffic. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan.
