Wind Advisory for Framingham and MetroWest

Strong gusts this afternoon, that could knock down trees and cause isolated power outages.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Framingham and MetroWest from now until 6 p.m.

Winds will be from the southwest and average 15-25 miles per hour, with gusts above 45 miles per hour.

Strong winds guests will begin to develop during daybreak withe strongest gusts expected in the afternoon hours.

Gusts could knock down trees and there could be isolated power outages.

A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be above 30 miles per hour and gusts between 45 and 57 miles per hour.
