Usually Normal to rock out Angry Ham's tonight, electronics recycling at Plymouth Church and the inaugural Flyer 5K Walk/Run takes place this morning.

Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.

1.  You can still register for the inaugural Flyer 5K Breakaway Walk/Run this morning at 9. Registration on site at Walsh Middle School begins at 7:30 a.m. Please support the Flyers.

2. Plymouth Church is hosting an Electronic Recycling Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anything with a plug is accepted.Reasonable rates are charged and a charitable donation receipt provided. Pick-up in Framingham may be available for a nominal fee. For pricing and more information, please check out our

3. Whole Foods Market in Framingham is holding a Salad Bar Tour and Class for Kids this morning at 10.

4. FACES is holding a BBQ today on Weld Street at 4 p.m. The event, in part, is to raise awareness of the issues of General Chemical in the neighborhood.

5.Usually Normal will perform at Angry Ham's Bar & Grill at 9 tonight. No Cover. A video from a previous performance is attached. The band has Framingham ties and will perform classic & modern rock, pop and country. Band will play until 12:30 a.m.
