Cheap Trick Lead Singer Performing at Violet Jam Friday Night With His New Band

Robin Zander, lead singer of the 70s and 80s band Cheap Trick will bring his famous rock n' roll energy to The VERVE: Crowne Plaza Natick for a Violet Jam performance featuring his newly-formed RobinZander Band.

Robin Zander, lead singer of the 70s and 80s band Cheap Trick will bring his rock n’ roll energy to The VERVE: Crowne Plaza Natick for a Violet Jam performance featuring his newly-formed RobinZander Band.

The band features drummer Steve Luongo, guitarist Mark Hitt and bassist Larry Hobbs.

The friendly foursome, who recently came together as passionate musicians, will give the Violet Jam crowd an intimate performance. Their set will include highlights from Zander's solo material and of course, a few Cheap Trick favorites, including Dream Police, Surrender, and the song featured in several movie soundtracks, I Want You to Want Me.

For Cheap Trick fans, this Violet Jam performance is a definite must! 

Zander has been with Cheap Trick, since its formation in 1973, and still fronts the group.

The Violet Jam doors open Friday, May 23 at 7. Performance is about 9 p.m.

Tickets are still available at $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
