Crafts, Carnival and Civil-War Fun Scheduled

Make plans to attend Walsh Middle School's first-ever spring carnival Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Glad you clicked on our new Grab & Go Kids Planner! We've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children. Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week. You're time-pressed enough, so we're happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

WHY GO:
This week's craft is sure to create a buzz! There will be a free craft, face painting and a glass block decorating demonstration.

, Saturday, march 26 from noon to 3 p.m.

WHY GO:
Join the community and celebrate spring!  Dance to DJ Craig Sutton.  Food, carnival games, moon walk, dunk tank, Hudson Psychic, face painters, Mehndi body art, craft table, 30-foot  cookie walk, make your own sundaes, fresh cotton candy and popcorn and other entertainment. Everyone receives a free one-day Family Pass to the Metrowest YMCA while supplies last.  Come early.  One pass per household.

PRICING:
Adults are free. $5 admission per student



3. FRAMINGHAM READS TOGETHER: ZAB SCAVENGER HUNT FINALE AND OPEN CRAFT

WHERE/WHEN: Amazing Things Art Center, Saturday, March 26 at 3 p.m.

WHY GO: Featuring more than 20 beautifully hand-crafted marionettes,
"The Fairy Circus" is a showcase for turn-of-the-century-style trick puppetry. The puppets will dance, play instruments, juggle, contort, transform, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease, all to the best-loved music of favorite composers!m according to Amazing Things website.
