Hummingbird and Crowfoot

An evening of Celtic, Franco-American and Northern European folk music with Jeremiah McLane, Ruthie Dornfeld and the Quebec based trio Crowfoot.Vermont accordionist Jeremiah McLane and Seattle fiddler Ruthie Dornfeld play music from France, the British Isles, North America and Scandinavia, as well as original compositions. Their firm grounding in traditional dance music, mastery of their instruments, and innovative spirits make for a musical experience of unforgettable energy, passion, and adventure. Crowfoot is Adam Broome (Guitar, Cittern, Vocals) Jaige Trudel (Fiddle, Cello, Vocals) and Nicholas Williams (Flute, Accordion, Piano, Vocals). The trio weaves musical influences from England, Ireland, Québec, and the Appalachian Mountains with rich vocal harmonies, haunting ballads, and finely crafted instrumental arrangements that compliment their infectious dance energy.
