Olympus on My Mind

We all need to laugh, so head to Framingham’s Amazing Things Arts Center to see the hilarious OLYMPUS ON MY MIND, by Barry Harman and Grant Sturiale. Affordable tickets, free parking, and laughter therapy – not to mention a fantastic production – in your own backyard!   Audiences are giving several thumbs up to the show.  Helmed by the zany trio who brought you last year's smash hit THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL, this fast-paced musical comedy traces the god Jupiter's transformation from "one wild and crazy god" into a deity of love and compassion.  Complete with mistaken identities and a singing and tap-dancing Greek Chorus, it is laughter therapy - but has its poignant moments as well.  Join us on a silly trip to Greece (pre-austerity controversy)!

The production features Framingham’s Dayna Demers as Delores, an ex-Vegas showgirl whose husband backed the show, and Jim Fitzpatrick, a Meditech programmer, as Jupiter, the god who comes to earth on a whim and learns about love.  Also featuring Joe Berry, Kai Chao, Colette Gagnon, Deirdre Hatch, Danny Hayward, Michael T. Lacey, and Matt Sherman.
