Pile on the Pancakes for Charity Saturday Morning

Lots of arts options this weekend -- Friday night attend a benefit wedding and Saturday see a performance of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

It’s Thursday, and you have no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Framingham  Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to explore.

 

1.   BLOOD WEDDING

WHERE/WHEN: Framingham High, Friday night at 7 p.m.

WHY GO: This public benefit performance, based on the true story of a love triangle with a very tragic ending, will move the audience to tears and perhaps the Framingham High Drama Company into the next round of the 2011 Massachusetts High School Drama Guild Festival. There will be a talk back session with the actors and production team after the performance. Adult themes.

2.  I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE

WHERE/WHEN: , Friday & Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

WHY GO: Take comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone in your quest for the one! We have all played the dating game. Sometimes you win and sometimes you fall flat on your heart in total humiliation and utter despair! Whatever your track record may be, it is always refreshing to have a good laugh at oneself! This hilarious performance is just what the therapist ordered!!

PRICING:$22 Members, $20 Students and Seniors $11

 

3. HELP! BEATLES TRIBUTE BAND

WHERE/WHEN: , Saturday at 8 p.m.

WHY GO: If you are a Beatles fan, you will LOVE these guys! They have been "wowing" audiences all over New England for years!

PRICING: $16, $13 for members. ($15 for students and seniors)

 

4. EAT, DRINK AND LAUGH AT TBT'S COMEDY NIGHT

WHERE/WHEN: Temple Beth Torah, Sunday 7-9 p.m.

WHY GO: Three of Boston and New York's hottest   to entertain you while you bid on numerous silent auction items and sample scrumptious sweets!

5.  CHARITY BREAKFAST AND FOOD DRIVE

WHERE/WHEN:  Masonic Lodge, Saturday 8 to 10 a.m.

WHY GO:  Pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage with plenty of sweet maple syrup! All proceeds go to Masonic Angels charities. All are welcome! Food donations for A Place To Turn also being collected.
