Shrek the Musical To Be Staged in Framingham This Weekend

The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest, will stage Shrek the Musical Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, featuring MetroWest students in grades 3-12.

The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest will stage Shrek the Musical, book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and Music by Jeanine Tesori, featuring a cast of students in grades 3-12 from the MetroWest area this weekend on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, June 8 at 3 pm.

This musical is suitable for all ages (rated PG). For those who have never seen the movie, Shrek, a grouchy but loveable large, green Ogre, and Donkey, his excitable talking friend, are hired by Lord Farquad to rescue Princess Fiona. Shrek falls in love with Fiona but does not believe he has a chance with 
the Princess. 

The show will take place at the Dennison Memorial Hall at the Boston Church of Christ, 214 Concord St. in Framingham.

Advanced Tickets are $16 for adultsm $14 for seniors and youth. Tickets will be $2 more at the door. Tickets available by calling (508) 875-5554 or by visiting www.pacmetrowest.org and ordering online.
