SLIDESHOW: Families Watch Brave at Bowditch Field

On a beautiful summer night, Framingham families brought blankets and chairs to movie night at Bowditch Field Monday.

This was just the second time the Framingham Parks & Recreation department has screened a film at the football field outdoors.

Radio station WROR and RCN were sponsors of the event. WROR held games for kids and a a family BINGO before the movie started at sundown. RCN gave away free ice cream.

A second movie night will be held in August.

Framingham Parks & Recreation will run a poll on Framingham Patch starting next week in which Framingham residents can vote for which of three movies to screen.
