Thursday Night Movies at the Library

During the summer, the main Framingham Library will screen Films from Books on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

This summer the main Framingham Library will screen Films from Books
(novel's, plays and short stories).

All films begin at 7 p.m. and are shown with English subtitles. Here's the schedule:

Thursday, July 11: A Room With a View (1985) Starring Daniel
Day- Lewis, Maggie Smith, Judy Dench and Helena Bonham Carter ( Ice
cream from Mad Willies will be served.)

Thursday, July 18: Rear Window (1954) Starring James Stewart and
Grace Kelly. ( Ice Cream from Mad Willies will be served.)

Thursday, Aug. 1:  Dodsworth (1936) Starring Walter Houston and
Mary Astor.
Dr. Claudia Springer, FSU Film Professor will introduce and lead a
discussion after the film. ( Ice Cream from Friendly's at Temple
Street will be served.)

Thursday, Aug. 8: Quartet (2012) Starring Maggie Smith and Tom
Courtenay. Refreshments.

Thursday, Aug. 15: You Can't Take It With You Starring Jean
Arthur and James Stewart. (Ice Cream from Friendly's at Temple
Street will be served.

All films are free to all and are sponsored in part by the Friends of
the Framingham Library.

Your memberships in the Friends, your donations of books for The Friends Book Sales and your contributions to the Friends Contribution box at events make it
possible for the Friends to purchase the Film licenses that make these events possible.
