Dairy Queen To Open Next Month on Route 126

Next month, a newly-constructed Dairy Queen, with indoor seating and an outdoor patio, will open on Route 126 in Ashland, near the Framingham line.

Since the 1960s, Dairy Queen has been a fixture in Ashland.

Last October, the very popular Dairy Queen, which was typically open from March to October, closed for good on Route 135.

Next month, a newly-constructed Dairy Queen, with indoor seating and an outdoor patio, will open on Route 126 in Ashland, near the Framingham line, at 130 Pond St.

This new location will be open year-round, the owners told Framingham Patch last fall.

The Traitoros family has owned and operated the Ashland Dairy Queen for 15 years.

The grand opening  is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, according to the Dairy Queen's Facebook page.
