Cumberland Farms, headquartered in Framingham, may have had the commercial of the summer of 2013, with David Hasselhoff singing Thirsty for Your Love.

The commercial drew a reaction from most viewers. They either loved it or hated it.

The television commercial promoted the convenience store and gasoline chain's farmhouse-blend iced coffee, which retails at 99 cents for any size.

One sign how popular the campaign was  -- more than 500 giant cutouts of the former "Baywatch" were stolen in the Northeast since the advertising campaign began, according to CBS-TV in New York.

Another sign, Cumberland Farms customers were asking for "iced Hoffee."
