Framingham-Based GTS Will Phase Out Honeywell Batteries
Global Technology Systems, in 2014, expects to announce new innovative products for the government and telecommunications markets, said its chief operating officer.
Global Technology Systems Inc. (GTS) of Framingham (and Taipei, Taiwan) announced it has terminated its exclusive world-wide branding relationship with Honeywell International, effective as of December 31, 2013.
GTS' Chief Operating Officer Michael Grosberg said: "Our company has used the ‘Honeywell Batteries' brand for more than 10 years. Under that brand we created innovative new batteries and chargers for mobile devices that have served business, public safety and government, and we have provided a high performance alternative to standard OEM batteries."

"We have now expanded our business model and our product lines, and we have developed new on-site services that go well beyond the limitations of the Honeywell Batteries branding," said Grosberg. In 2014, "GTS expects to announce new innovative products for the government and telecommunications markets, said Grosberg. "We are now engaging in a broad-reaching program to inform our customers about these exciting new developments."
