Genzyme Advertising For Immigration Specialist

Genzyme, with offices in Framingham, began advertising for an Immigration specialist on Jan. 2.

The position would supervise and administer the delivery of the company's immigration program with a critical focus on compliance, service quality and timeliness.

The position would provide technical expertise and lead special department projects and initiatives to improve productivity and increase department efficiency.

The immigration specialist would train all key stakeholders on immigration process and responsible for updating as appropriate and support the manager with various other activities as needed. 

The immigration specialist would be the expert for immigration and ensure full compliance with immigration laws for Genzyme Corporation.

He or she would oversee program and counsels management business partners and staffing members and employees throughout the visa processes, and interacts with external immigration counsel to facilitate visa applications, work permits and other required documentation, as well as manage immigration vendors on information required to support service activities, including updating vendor systems and teams as needed.
