Long-Time Framingham Restaurant Closing

The 400 Restaurant in the Mt. Wayte Plaza is closing at the end of the year.

The Restaurant announced the news on its Facebook page today.

The owner of the plaza, had suggested the Italian restaurant might stay as he redevelops the plaza, but the restaurant said it closing due to a lease issue.

Below is the Facebook statement:

"It is with much sadness that after a successful run, The 400 will be closing it's doors at the end of December. We were unsuccessful in securing a long-term lease and therefore, have no choice but to move forward into different endeavors. 

We are forever grateful to you for your patronage, and for sharing an incredible journey with us. We have thoroughly enjoyed serving you and your family, and sharing many wonderful nights over the past few years. It is because of you that The 400 was such a great success! 

We will be here until the end of December, so please come and enjoy another great meal, a glass of wine, and a few more laughs with some old 400 friends.
