MutualOne Charitable Foundation Supports Shillman House

The Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly’s Shillman House in Framingham recently received $5,000 from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation, said Foundation Chair Robert P. Lamprey in a press release.

The funds will be used to sustain a comprehensive fitness and wellness program that helps older adults improve flexibility, mobility, balance, physical and mental health, self-image, and cognitive abilities.

“The MutualOne Charitable Foundation realizes how important it is to help the seniors of our community age with dignity and high quality of life,” said Lamprey in the release. “We are happy to support those goals.”

The Foundation has provided a total of $12,500 in support of Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly initiatives over the past three years.

The MutualOne Charitable Foundation is a continuation of the Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation following the 2012 merger of Framingham Co-operative Bank and Natick Federal Savings Bank.

Since it was originally established in 1998, the Foundation has donated over $2.3 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enhance the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.

Operating under an 1889 state charter, MutualOne Bank has full-service offices at 828 Concord Street and One Lincoln Street in Framingham, and at 49 Main Street in Natick, and a Loan Center at 160 Cochituate Road in Framingham.
