Sheraton Celebrates 40th Birthday With Multi-Milllion Facelift

The Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference center is celebrating its 40th birthday in 2013, and this week unveiled a multi-million facelift.

Molly Malone's is gone and in its place is a contemporary, chic lounge. 

The hotel also unveiled a new restaurant called the Postern Grille. The restaurant has two private dining rooms and there is a special table that can be reserved in front of the chefs, where guests can watch their meal being prepared.

The newly-restored Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center also features refurbished guest rooms, revised public spaces and an upgraded ballroom. 

The renovation brings an updated look and feel to the hotel, while upholding the values of exceptional customer service and strong attention to detail that is long associated with the hotel.

The lobby, which was completed hours before the unveiling of the renovations, is spectacular, with a couple of wall-sized fire places.

The 375 over-sized guestrooms and suites, offers guests Sheraton Sweet SleeperTM beds, complete with 300-thread count sheets, down comforters and fluffy pillows. Special amenities include over sized work areas with plush seating, Shine® bath products, Starbucks® 1-cup coffee, high-speed wireless Internet access and flat-screen HD TV’s. 

The Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center is the Framingham's only full-service hotel with dedicated conference facilities. The hotel’s extensive meeting and event space and ancillary conference center is comprised of approximately 22,000 square feet, including a 14,000-square-foot International Association of Conference Centers approved conference center.  

The beautiful ballroom, with valued ceiling and crystal chandeliers, offers 8,118 square feet of space that can accommodate up to 720 people seated or 1,200 people theatre style. This week for the grand unveiling, it was styled in beautiful tones of maroon and grey.
