Closure of Prospect Street, Governor's Council debate tonight, the Lunch Lady comes to the main Framingham Library, Olympic summary and MetroWest Chamber after house event featured in today's column.

1. A reconstruction project will close Prospect Street to everyone, but residents and emergency vehicles. Framingham Department of Public Works says the project involves improvements to the storm drain system, the removal of the road surface to a gravel base and installation of the asphalt base and top courses. Sidewalks and curbing will also be removed and replaced. Travelers are asked to seek alternate routes or follow the posted detour for Prospect Street. Worcester Road (Route 9) businesses will be accessible from Worcester Road and the intersecting driveways on Prospect Street.
