5. There is a tonight at , featuring . She came to Boston in 1990 to study at Berklee College of Music, where she studied jazz composition with Herb Pomeroy, Greg Hopkins and met her mentor Hal Crook. Kaoruko now leads her own band - the Kaoruko Jazz Ensemble. The first hour tonight is a concert. The second hour will be opened up for  "jammers" to get the opportunity to sit in and hone their skills with some of the finest players in the area. Admission is $6. The show starts at 8 p.m.
