Chair Yoga Brings Exercise, Relaxation to Seniors

A seated version of yoga brought area seniors to Framingham on Friday.

Stretching tight tendons and breathing to relieve stress, local residents gathered at the Framingham Senior Center on Friday its bi-weekly chair yoga class. 

71-year-old Gene Pacelli instructs the class, providing a mix of low-impact stretching and and meditation to bring mental peace and physical relaxation to participants. 

"Your mind can be constantly agitated," Pacelli said. "By bringing meditation in it helps you let go."
