Framingham May Get Another Foot of Snow This Weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon for Framingham and MetroWest.

Framingham will get at least 6 inches of snow and maybe a foot of heavy, wet snow, according to forecasters.

Heavy, wet snow means there is the potential for down tree limbs and wires and possible power outages.

Winds won't be as bad with this storm as the last two weekend storms. Sustained winds of 5 to 10 mph, with gusts of 30 mph are expected, said the Service.

Our news partner WHDH-TV had Framingham getting 8-12 inches earlier this week but has lowered the amount for our area to 6-10 inches.
