Elizabeth Roy Wins Write-in Campaign for Library Trustee

Elizabeth Roy was successful in her write-in campaign for one of four Framingham Library Trustee seats on the ballot Tuesday, according to Town Clerk Valerie Mulvey.

Elizabeth Roy was successful in her write-in campaign for one of four Framingham Library Trustee seats on the ballot Tuesday, according to Town Clerk Valerie Mulvey.

Roy finished fourth in the race with 238 write-in votes. Write-in candidate Lee Ann Friedman finished fifth with 104 votes.

Also elected were Joanne Thompson (2,304 votes), Arthur Finstein (2,091) and Samuel Klaidman (1,999). 

Only 10 percent of the town's registered voters - 3,702 voters - went to the polls on Tuesday.
