A Science Fair of Sorts at Fuller Middle School

Eighth grade students at Fuller Middle School will participate in a series of 5 science stations sponsored by Boston Cares and Sunovion Volunteers.  The students will be led by their teachers and the scientists from these corporations to participate with the hands on science experiments to learn about the science standards in a hands on exciting way.  Students will have the opportunity to make ice cream in a bag; learning about freezing point of molecules, they will learn about hydroponic and hydrophobic molecules while building lava lamps, and they will also create slime to learn about chemical reactions.  These are only three of the five stations.  This will be the second year of this wonderful opportunity for our students.  I have worked closely with Boston Cares for the past two years and am fortunate enough to have been given this opportunity to have this relationship and to bring this opportunity to our students.  The students that participate really love this day!  If your child is involved in this day at Fuller, please stop by and take part!      Michelle Gallagher- Fuller Middle School Science Teacher
