Funeral Service information Mrs. Catherine (Zwick) Keefe

FRAMINGHAM:   Catherine (Zwick) Keefe, 87, resident of Framingham for 35 years, died Thursday Sept. 19, 2013. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Keefe who died in 1999.

Born in New Britain, Ct., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Sanders) Zwick. A graduate of UVM with the class of 1946, Mrs. Keefe was primarily a homemaker for many years raising her 7 children. For 8 years, she worked for IDG in Framingham as an editor's assistant, a job she greatly enjoyed. She also worked as a school crossing guard in Saxonville. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is remembered for being an accomplished seamstress, playing the piano, and her love of the Berkshires.  

She is survived by her children: Catherine K. Petrillo & her husband Joseph of Plymouth, Mary E. Keefe & her husband Martin Womer of Saco, Me., Richard F. Keefe, Jr. & wife Judy of Dunbar, NH, Sarah J. Engman & husband Carl of Florida, James M. Keefe & wife Lisa of Windham, Me., Patricia McBride & husband William of Ashland and Bridget Cammarata & husband Richard of Framingham; 13 grandchildren: Katie Petrillo, Joseph Petrillo, Jr., Hannah L. Morrill, Rachel Taylor, Richard Keefe, III, Melany Engman, Melissa Schmidt, Carl Engman, Jr., Christina Keefe, Joshua Keefe, Connor McBride, Richard J. Cammarata, III and Angela Cammarata; and 6 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Sunday, September 22nd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at St. George's Church, 74 School St., Framingham (Saxonville)  Burial will be private in Parklawn Cemetery, Bennington, Vt.  Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA. 01701.
