Mary Ware Dennett - Survivor of Scandal, Agent of Reform

If you missed Libby Franck as Mary Ware Dennett last March, this is your chance to see a brilliant reenactment of a Framingham woman who transcended a nationally notorious public scandal and moved on to campaign for suffrage, promote world peace and fight to make sex education legal.  Since debuting as Dennett earlier this year, Libby has expanded her research throughout New England, interviewing members of the Dennett and Chase families. This presentation will introduce new information, making it a perfect follow-up for those who saw her in March.  Tickets are $5/FHC member, $10/non member.  To reserve a seat, email charlene@framinghamhistory.org. This program is presented by The Framingham History Center.
