Community Corner

McAuliffe Charter School Public Lottery

We're so excited to select our Class of 2017 scholars in the 2014 Lottery!! We wish all families "good luck" and look forward to meeting and working with those of you who will be joining or re-joining our community next year!

Applications for the lottery were due on February 28, 2014. Any applications submitted after February 28, 5pm will automatically be added to the waitlist.

We'll be accepting 144 sixth graders and 5 seventh graders. We'll build waitlists for the remaining students applying for sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.

The event is open to the public but families who applied to not need to be present. We'll post the results on our website as well as communicate the results to families by email & snail mail following the lottery!

How the lottery works:
-- First, siblings of current McAuliffe students are accepted (39 siblings of current students this year)
-- Next, we draw randomly from applicants who live in towns that are part of the school's regional district. Regional towns include Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Natick, Southborough, and Sudbury.
-- If there are still seats available, students from towns not listed above will be drawn at random.
-- When all seats are filled, students will be drawn randomly in the order named above in order to create a wait list.
Families accepted through the lottery will need to confirm their child's enrollment by submitting enrollment forms that include a record release form.
-- As spaces become available, McAuliffe will accept students off of the waitlist.

If you did not apply to the lottery, you can still add your child to the waitlist by following the link below:
