Visiting hours for Mrs. Helen M. (White) Kelley of Framingham

Helen M. (White) Kelley, 91, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Wednesday September 18, 2013. She was the wife of the late James J. Kelley, Jr. who died in 1977.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Hawes) White. A graduate of Framingham High School with the Class of 1940, she also studied at Regis College for two years. Mrs. Kelley worked for a time as a nurses assistant for the late Dr. Burke and at Bonds Drugstore in downtown Framingham. She was employed for 20 years as a book keeper at Sears in Natick before retiring. She enjoyed travel to Ireland, her friends from the "Brady Bunch" on John J. Brady Drive in Framingham, and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: James J. Kelley, III and his wife Susan of Cape Coral Florida, Helen F. Donnelly and her husband Mike of Framingham and Edward D. Kelley and his wife Elizabeth of Framingham; her grandchildren: Shawn and Patrick Kelley, Julie Donnelly and Annie Kelley and 3 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Michael James Donnelly.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday Sept. 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Chapel in St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Fenwick St., Framingham. A visiting hour will precede the Mass in the chapel beginning at 8:45 a.m.  Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Mrs. Kelley's name to St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
