Fund Established To Help Twin Daughters, Dad With Framingham Ties

A fund has been established to help Dean Zanella, a Framingham native, raise his newborn twin girls, after their mom (and his wife) died eight days after they were born.

On Feb. 13, Mary Bridget Reidy Zanella gave birth to healthy twin girls Nora Grace and Anna Joan. Just 8 days later, due to complications, she died.

A fund has been established to assist Mary's husband, Dean, a Framingham native, who will need to go back to work, with the financial costs of raising their newborn daughters and later, their college education.

The family currently lives in Illinois but has very strong ties to Framingham.

The goal of the GiveForward fund is to raise $90,000.

As of midnight March 14, 129 people had donated $10,609.
