Girl Scouts Collecting Toiletries, Socks for Veterans
Donations may be dropped off at the Framingham Parks and Recreation office on Union Avenue.
Framingham Girl Scout Troop 75412 is helping homeless veterans by collecting toiletries and warm socks.
For the month of January, donations, of any size new and unopened items, may be dropped off between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (not today on the holiday) at the Framingham Parks and Recreation Department's office at 475 Union Ave.
The following items are in desperate need by homeless veterans in our area:
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Shampoo
- Hair brushes and combs
- Deodorant
- New socks
- Bar soap
- Shaving cream
- Disposable razors
