La Cantina, Samba and 99 Restaurants To Help Family Devastated by Fire

The Town of Framingham is hoping other restaurants will agree to host fundraisers to help a family that lost their home last month.

Framingham restaurants La Cantina Ristorante, Samba Steak & Sushi and the 99 Restaurants have all agreed to hold fundraiser events to help a Framingham family that lost their home in November.

Framingham Selectmen Chair Dennis Giombetti suggested the Town of Framingham help organize restaurant fundraisers, like PTOs do, to help the Park family.

Dates for the three fundraisers have not been scheduled, but Framingham Patch will update when more details are available.

Any local restaurants interested in holding a fundraiser are asked to call the Town Manager/Selectmen's office at 508-532-5400 and ask for Cherry.

The Park family home, at 10 Stanley Dr., was destroyed by fire on Nov. 30. The close knit Pheasant Hill neighborhood started a fundraiser to help the family.

Giombetti suggested the restaurant fundraisers could contribute to that fund.

In 18 days, 95 individuals have donated to raise $7,831.
