Samba Steak & Sushi and Samba West restaurants in Framingham will hold a fundraising night to raise money for the Park family, who experienced a devastating fire at their home on Stanley Drive in Framingham just before Thanksgiving.

Framingham Selectmen Chair Dennis Giombetti, with support from his entire Board, suggested local restaurants help raise money for the Park fund established by the Pheasant Hill Civic Association to help this family rebuild their lives.

Samba owner Joseph Zhang was the first to volunteer both of his restaurants to help support this cause.

On Thursday, Jan. 2 from 5 p.m. until closing, 20 percent of all food sales at both Samba Steak & Sushi and Samba West will be donated to the Park
Fund.

Other local restaurants planning January fundraisers are La Cantina, 99 Restaurant, and CJ’s Northside Grill. Patch will post information on these fundraisers as details become available.
