Team Framingham for 2014 Boston Marathon Announced

Last week, via a lottery, the Town of Framingham selected 25 individuals to receive Boston Marathon bibs and run for Team Framingham in 2014.

The following is a press release from the Town of Framingham:

The Town of Framingham received 25 invitational entries from the Boston Athletic Association for the April 21, 2014 running of the Boston Marathon.

Framingham Selectmen, at its meeting of Tuesday, Oct. 29, voted unanimously to revise the process for allocating the 25 Boston Marathon invitational entries.

On Thursday Dec. 5, the Town of Framingham held the random selection drawing to choose the 25 members of Team Framingham for the upcoming Boston Marathon.

The following Team Framingham runners were selected: Dorreen Dickinson, Katelyn Roche, Gail Gregory, Michele Tibbert, Mary Fitterer, Richard Coe, Cori Sage, Joseph Mazzola, Katherine Schneider, Michelle Itzkowitz, Melissa Wells, Brooks Church, David Wells, John Greeley, Laura Grome, Lorelei Capuzzi, Kevin Murphy, Brianna Stefanini, Vernon Turner, Suzanne Chiapowski, Stuart Hurowitz, Beth Lawson, Matthew Warren, Ellen Vedora and Joseph Kynoch.
