Tickets Still Available For 11th Annual Flutie Bowl at Kings

Since its inception, Flutie Bowl has raised more than $600,000 for Framingham-based The Doug Flutie, Jr., Foundation for Autism, which provides services and supports to local children and families living with autism.

Join local sports hero and former New England Patriots Quarterback, Doug Flutie, along with personalities from New England’s most beloved sports teams, local radio, and television at the 11th Annual Flutie Bowl on Tuesday, January 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at KINGS, located in Legacy Place in Dedham.

Since its inception, Flutie Bowl has raised more than $600,000 for The Doug Flutie, Jr., Foundation for Autism, which provides services and supports to local children and families living with autism. 

All proceeds will benefit the Framingham-based Foundation, a charity that Doug and his wife, Laurie, established in honor of their son Doug, Jr., who was diagnosed with autism at age three.

Before doors open at 6 p.m. for the celebrity bowling tournament, fourteen families of children with autism have been chosen to come and bowl (3:30 to 5 p.m.) for free. During that time the venue will create an autism-friendly environment.

Once the family bowling is complete, the celebrity bowling tournament will begin. Celebrity bowlers will be paired with corporate teams from Mazda, Eastern Bank, Instaflex, Irving Oil, Ocean Spray, and Sam Adams Beer.

The 11th Annual Flutie Bowl will also feature exciting raffles and silent auction items including, authentic autographed sports memorabilia, weekend getaways, spa services and several other one-of-a-kind items. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a special performance by the Flutie Brother’s Band featuring Doug Flutie on the drums.

“Flutie Bowl is a special event that Laurie and I look forward to every January. For us, Flutie Bowl marks a New Year and another opportunity for our Foundation to continue its mission in supporting families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder,” said Doug Flutie, President and co-founder of the Flutie Foundation in a press release. “We invite everyone to join us for a fun night of bowling, with good food and good company at the 11th Annual FlutieBowl.
