Annually, the Framingham Veterans Services marks the graves of American Veterans with an American Flag.

This year, 4,500 flags will be placed in Framingham’s cemeteries by volunteers.

On Saturday, May 17 at 9 a.m. volunteers (including Boy and Girl Scouts) are needed to help place 2,500 flags in Edgell Grove Cemetery. Edgell Grove is a Historical Landmark.

"As a result of the design, we need a lot of youth with enthusiasm to tackle this large cemetery," said Framingham Veterans Agent Peter Harvell.

The rain date is May 25 (Framingham Patch will post if the event is postponed due to weather.)

If you or your Scout Troop is interested, please call the Framingham Veteran Service at 508-532-5515.
